The Holmarc HO-TH-12T is a long-travel dip coating unit engineered for high-precision and extended-range thin-film deposition. Driven by a servo motor and lead-screw mechanism, it provides finely controlled immersion and withdrawal speeds, enabling uniform coatings through all five standard dip-coating stages—immersion, startup, deposition, evaporation, and drainage. With a maximum stroke length of 1000 mm and a drawing speed range from 18 μm/s up to 9000 μm/s, it accommodates large samples and long travel distances while maintaining consistent performance. The unit supports substrates up to 10 kg in load capacity, facilitating heavy or large-area specimens. Users operate the system via a microprocessor controller with a user-friendly keyboard and LCD interface, or through PC control, allowing full programmability of dipping parameters such as speed, dip duration, and idle times. The compact, tabletop design ensures stability and low vibration, while the robust construction delivers the structural rigidity needed for reproducible results. Its versatility makes it suitable for advanced research in material science, nanotechnology, and industrial thin-film applications.
