Details
The EBPVD coating process is a high-energy technique that enables high deposition rates, precise control over composition and microstructure, and the ability to produce advanced coatings for demanding applications. This process is particularly suited for depositing thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) with MCrAlY bond coats and high-temperature oxidation-resistant layers, commonly used on gas turbine blades in aero-engine and power generation industries.
The facility can deposit coatings with thicknesses ranging from a few microns to several millimetre’s, including graded structures tailored for specific functional requirements.
