  • Jet milling is a critical step to reduce the coarse powders obtained from HD process into very fine anisotropic powders typically 3 – 5 micron in size.   The jet mill in ARCI is a target type jet mill wherein the coarse powders fed into the milling chamber is made to impinge on a hard target by a stream of high pressure nitrogen jet.  A classifier rotating at high speed allows the passage of powder particles with a specific size which is collected in containing which our be sealed, while the remaining powders falls back into the chamber for milling.
